Visiting Fellow, Director of The Third Oikos
Nicole Ruiz is a non-resident fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation, and director of The Third Oikos. She is also a visiting fellow at the Institute for Family Studies, a homemaker, and a mom of one. Previously, Nicole invested in frontier technology startups at the seed stage, at Compound, an investment firm. She was a board observer to PearBio (biotech cancer diagnostics), Wayve (autonomous vehicles driven by reinforcement learning), AI Fleet (trucking technology company), and Fort Robotics (warehouse safety robotics). She led the seed investment in Spaero Bio (lab automation software for liquid handling robotics). She previously spent time at Gartner, and almost bought the Constitution with cryptocurrency once.
