Three in Four Parents Want to Pause AI in Schools

Some of the nation’s largest school districts are adopting policies to pause AI in schools. The Institute for Family Studies’ latest survey reveals that these policies are very popular among American parents. New data from the forthcoming IFS study on AI in education show that three out of four parents with children in school support pausing AI’s introduction into the classroom. This finding confirms the Institute’s other research on Americans and AI: voters want policymakers to prioritize kids’ safety.
